POLICE have surrounded a house at Warrington where a man is threatening to harm himself.
A cordon has been set up around the Trefoil Close area of Birchwood.
Specially trained officers are talking to the man who is alone in the property.
The drama started in the early hours of this morning after nearby residents alerted police that they were concerned for the safety of the man, believed to be aged 37.
Other occupants of the house are understood to have left without being harmed.
