WARRINGTON’S largest law firm, Forshaws Davies Ridgway (FDR), has successfully re-tendered to be on a major public sector legal panel.
FDR’s commercial department includes a highly experienced public sector team which works for national, regional and local public sector bodies and their experience and expertise has been rewarded by winning a coveted position on the northern panel of the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
Deborah Hodd, Head of Commercial at FDR (pictured right) and a public sector law specialist, said: “We are extremely proud that the work of our public sector team has again been acknowledged by HCA. It is an honour to be on the HCA panel of fifteen firms nationwide. We have worked with the HCA (and its forerunners the Commission for the New Towns and English Partnerships) for many years but we are delighted that we have once again been able to show the high level of skill and experience required to secure legal work from such an important national Agency.”
Stephen Woodall, Partner at FDR, (pictured left) said: “HCA oversee many exciting developments across the region and the country. Our re-appointment means that our exceptional team will continue to be involved at the heart of many of these projects.”
he added: “There is ever increasing pressure for public sector organisations to work more efficiently and achieve efficiencies on cost. HCA has now streamlined its legal panel to ensure this is possible, so to be reappointed to this panel amidst tough competition is very rewarding. It is a mark of FDR’s commitment to providing high quality and cost effective legal services.”
