Sue is community hero

A WARRINGTON woman who has dedicated much of her life to helping run the town’s YMCA has attended a “community heroes” reception at 10, Downing Street.
Sue Blyth, who was awarded an MBE in the 2009 New Year’s Honours, set up Warrington’s first homeless hostel and helps organise the town’s Refugee Week events.
The reception celebrated those individuals who make a difference to lives in their local communities.
While there, Sue had the chance to meet Gordon Brown who praised her for her community work over the last 29 years.
Anyone who would like to would like to donate to the YMCA should contact [email protected] or call 01925 632771
