A TEAM of Santas from Warrington YMCA brought a festive touch to the town centre to mark the opening of a new store in Bridge Street.
The store, Cash Generator, treated new customers to day of entertainment, prizes and giveaways.
Nearly 40 local people picked up prizes out of some 150 who stepped into an “instant win” booth in the store. Prizes included MP3 players, freeview boxes and CD and DVD bundles.
The first winners were Nicola Messenger, 18 and Brandon Berman, 25, from Lowton who walked away with an MP3 player and a DVD bundle. After a romantic meeting in Wales, the couple have lived together in Lowton for the last two years.
Store boss Chi Leung, commented: “It might have been cold outside but we really didn’t notice. The event was a fantastic celebration to mark our opening on Bridge Street and I was delighted to meet and speak to so many locals.
“The whole team worked really hard to make the day a great success and it was a credit to all involved. After such a positive start, I’m looking forward to a great future in Warrington.”
Cash Generator offers customers a selection of pre-owned, graded and brand new items and offer instant cash for almost any item of value with a guarantee to pay top price every time.
