POLICE were “not aware” that traffic should be stopped for the annual Remembrance Sunday service in Stockton Heath.
The parish council was concerned that traffic had not been stopped this year for the 11am silence.
Members heard that police chiefs reported they were “not aware” that there was a requirement to stop the traffic. They promised to review the situation for next year and ensure officers know what is expected.
