A WARRINGTON student was voted Outstanding Music Student of the Year at a national awards ceremony in London.
Rhys Wain, who studied at Warrington Collegiate, received the honour at the Access to Music National Awards Ceremony at the Mermaid Theatre, from one of his tutors, Jill Riley and television presenter Laura Lavern.
Rhys said: “The bands that performed on the night were really good and I enjoyed their performances. I felt proud that my efforts during my two years in college were noticed by my tutor and fantastic professional musician Sue Quin, and I would like to thank all at Access To Music for the award.”
