Power cut hits hundreds of properties

HUNDREDS of homes and businesses have been blacked out in South Warrington following a major power failure.
The loss of power is affecting Lymm, Stockton Heath, Appleton and other areas.
Scottish Power-Manweb say properties in the WA13 and WA4 postal areas are affected.
Some home suffered only a short “blip” in supplies while others suffered lengthy blackouts
Engineers are working to restore electricity supplies and hope to do so by 11am.
*Power was restored shortly before noon.
