ONE speeding driver was caught every 10 minutes during speed check sessions in Stockton Heath.
PCSO Peter Crellin said that during nine hours of speed enforcement in the village 93 offenders were caught – which worked out at one every 10 minutes.
He told Stockton Heath Parish Council that speed checks had been carried out in several roads. Of those caught 31 were local – and some lived on the road where they were speeding.
All were prosecuted and were fined £60 and given three points on their licence. PCSO Crellin said drivers exceeding the limit by about 26 mph were automatically sent to court.

  1. Good work chaps…. now let’s see if we can go and catch as many druggies, bagheads and burglars every hour shall we?

Thought not; that would involve being a proper policeman wouldn’t it?
