Sex trade hit by credit crunch?

THE sex trade has apparently been hit by the credit crunch.
Warrington’s only sex shop has asked the borough council to reduce its licence fee because of the economic situation..
Nice ‘n’ Naughty, in Crown Street, has warned the authority that if the fee – currently £3,092 – is not reduced it may be forced to close.
But officers say Warrington’s fee is already one of the lowest in the region – Manchester’s is £5,142 and neighbouring Trafford’s £5,000 – and are recommending licensing chiefs to refuse to agree to the reduction.
The fee has not increased since 2006.
