A WORKER from a Warrington charity has been shortlisted for an award as a “Digital Hero”.
Patrick McGuirk, (pictured) of Warrington Disability Partnership, is one of three candidates from the North West competing to win a £10,000 technology grant for their cause.
Patrick, the inspiration behind WDP Camera Club, was put forward for the award and got through to the final shortlist.
The TalkTalk awards are held in conjunction with Citizens Online and celebrate people who are using digital technology to bring about positive social change.
A public vote is being held online and the person with the most votes will be honoured at a ceremony at the House of Lords on November 24.
Votes can be cast at http://www.talktalk.co.uk/we-love-the-web/digital-heroes/north-west
