Jewell thief caught on camera

POLICE have issued CCTV images of a man they are hunting in connection with a smash and grab raider who got away with jewellery from a town centre shop in Warrington on Wednesday.
The man smashed a display window at Lepp’s jewellers in Bridge Street using a hammer.
He grabbed items from the display and fled on a pedal cycle.
Police said he was black and wearing a grey, stripey top and was carrying a black holdall.
Anyone who witnessed the burglary or thinks they recognise the man of the bicycle is asked to call the police on 0845 458 0000 or the confidential Crimestoppers Line on 0800 555 111.
