THREE Warrington Wolves stars including Skipper Adrian Morley have pledged their futures to the club by signing two year contract extension deals.
Morley, Ben Harrison and Chris Bridge have shown their commitment to the club by signing new 2-year contract extensions keeping them at Warrington until the end of 2012.
Morley (pictured right at Wembley) has well and truly established himself within both Super League, joining the Wolves in 2007, and on an International level representing both Great Britain and England. He recently captained Warrington Wolves to Challenge Cup victory at Wembley naming it as the highlight of his career. This year has also seen him named in the engage Super League Dream Team and narrowly miss out on being named as Man of Steel.
Harrison has been at the Club since 2004 with 2009 being his most successful year, having played in all but two of Warrington’s games this season. Earlier in the year Tony Smith praised Ben for the ‘energy and heart’ he puts into his match-day performances.
Bridge has had an excellent season establishing himself in the centres and taking on the role of regular goal-kicker. He has also added to his points total crossing the line for 10 tries through the year.
The Club continues to build an ever-stronger squad with the focus being on the longer term team stability and on-field success.
Wolves boss Tony Smith said: “We are delighted to have retained the services of these three players and maintain our good blend of players in the squad.
It is always good to retain experienced players as it gives the Club some stability for the future. I am looking forward to continuing to work with them.
As individuals they are all improving and we were more than happy to extend their contracts.”
All three players have also recently been named in Tony Smith’s England train-on squad for the Gillette Four Nations.
