Lowes names squad

YOUNG Kevin Penny could get the full-back slot at Knowsley Road on Friday night with Stuart Reardon still not
considered fit for first team action after a lengthy lay off.
Head Coach James Lowes has named Penny as first in the line-up in the 19 squad to face St Helens in the engage Super League XIV opener at The GPW Recruitment Stadium on Friday, Kick off 8.00pm.
But he also has the option of switching Hicks or Bridge to full-back.
Also missing is former Saint Martin Gleeson who has been withdrawn after injuring his leg in training.
There is also no place in the 19 for hooker Jon Clarke, who is still on the road to recovery from a broken arm.
It will mean a starting debut for new signing Micky Higham at his former club, with fellow new recruit Gareth Carvell also in the squad.
