Toughest ever pre-season training!

WARRINGTON Wolves’ players say they have been put through their toughest ever pre-season training by Head Coach Jimmy Lowes and his assistant Nigel Wright.
Training has been so tough a few players have been left nursing a few minor injuries but Lowes is confident the team he puts out to face St Helens on Friday night will be more than ready for the challenge ahead.
“Ideally I would have liked another pre-season match under our belts but I am confident we have a team capable of beating the best.”
Lowes refused to be drawn on the “bookies” making him odds on favourite to be the first Super League Coach to get the chop this season.
To see an exclusive interview with Lowes log on to warrington-worldwide tomorrow.
Other player interviews will be added throughout the week, including skipper Adrian Morley, young wingers Kevin Penny and Chris Riley, new signing Micky Higham Prop Paul Wood and Aussie Chris Hicks.
Meanwhile Vestas employees turned out in force to show their support for the Warrington Wolves.
Pictured in front of Vestas’s UK headquarters the employees unfurled a large banner, “Good luck to the Wolves for the new season”. Vestas, the world’s leading supplier of modern energy solutions, is the new principal sponsor of Warrington Wolves for this year.
