A SERIAL flasher from Warrington who exposed himself on five occasions to teenage girls has been spared jail.
Stuart Daly, 28, was arrested by police on two charges of indecent exposure, one of which involved a group of girls aged 14, and admitted a further six similar offences when questioned by officers.
Police searched his property as part of their enquiries and found a stolen mobile phone, which he admitted taking from a property in Pinders Farm Drive, Warrington.
Daly, a Warrington man no fixed address, pleaded guilty at Warrington Crown Court to two offences of indecent exposure and one of burglary.
He was placed under supervision for three years, ordered to live at a bail hostel for 12-months, ordered to complete a sex offenders programme and to sign on with police for the next five years.
Joanne Parsons, prosecuting, said a 27-year-old woman was walking home from work near St Elphin’s Park, Warrington, when Daly called out “excuse me.”
When she turned he was exposing himself.
Some time later he exposed himself to three 14-year-old girls in Marsh House Lane, Warrington.
Questioned by police, Daly admitted a further six offences of indecent exposure, four of which involved teenage girls.
The court heard Daley claimed he had not exposed himself for sexual gratification, but to get attention.
He admitted taking five mobile phones, two chargers and a purse during the burglary.
Judge David Hale told the defendant: “These were disgusting offences committed over the course of this year, offending people in the street. More worryingly, they were committed towards teenage girls.”
