WARRINGTON Wolves fans have proved themselves to be amongst the best in Super League after the club reported record ticket pre-sales for the Millennium Magic Weekend clash against Huddersfield.
Around 3,500 tickets have already been snapped up by fans looking forward to a day out in Cardiff, which represents a 21 per cent increase on sales for last year’s event.
Wolves’ Director of Commercial Development Dave Hutchinson commented: “We are absolutely delighted supporters have given their backing in such numbers for the Millennium Magic Weekend in Cardiff.
“The 50% discount on tickets for season ticket holders represented real value for money, with fans able to buy tickets for as little as £5. There will be a sea of primrose and blue in the Millennium Stadium on Saturday afternoon and hopefully any of our supporters who haven’t purchased tickets already or are undecided will make the trip for this carnival of rugby league.”
