Key players to miss Wolves' cup clash

WARRINGTON Wolves’ boss Tony Smith is planning to field as near full strength

team as possible against Featherstone Rovers in the Challenge Cup 4th round clash at

the weekend, although key players will be missing through injury.
Lee Briers, Pictured right lifting the cup last year with Adrian Morley, is unlikely to figure after pulling a hamstring in the final training session before the 36-16 defeat at Hull KR and Michael Monaghan is also set to miss out with a knee injury.
Garreth Carvell is also set to be out for a considerable time after picking up an injury in the 7th minute at the weekend.
With Warrington’s match kicking off at 4pm, they will be aware of their possible opponents at half time, with the draw being made live on BBC Radio Leeds at 4.45pm.
With Warrington defeating Featherstone comfortably away from home in the 5th round last year they will be hoping it will be a lucky omen for a return to Wembley to defend their Challenge Cup trophy.
Look out for exclusive warrington-worldwide video interviews with Smith and winger Chris Riley previewing the cup game and reflecting on the defeat at Hull KR later this week.
