“Dirty Dancing” film show

dirty dancingWARRINGTON Borough Council’s south neighbourhood team have organised a film afternoon for local residents.
The 80s classic “Dirty Dancing”, will be shown St Werburgh’s Development Centre, Boswell Avenue, on Friday February 27 at 1pm
Admission will be by donation and there will be light refreshment provided.
The film tells the coming-of-age story of a teenage girl and her relationship with a dance instructor.
Starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, the feel-good film enjoys a loyal fan-base and is loved by thousands
Cllr Kate Hannon, the borough council’s lead member for leisure, community and culture, said: “This is a great activity planned by our south neighbourhood team, aiming to bring our local community together. I hope residents to take advantage of this free showing and come along to have a lovely afternoon.”
