Three cars in pile-up

THREE cars were involved in a pile-up at Warrington this morning.
The crash was in Cinnamon Lane, Fearnhead shortly before 11.30am.
Fire crews from Warrington went to the scene and made the area safe. Fortunately no-one was trapped in the vehicles and it is not thought there were any serious injuries.
In another incident on the M62 eastbound carriageway, between Junctions 10 and 11, a saloon car caught fire.
Crews from Warrington, Birchwood and Greater Manchester went to the scene.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the blaze using a hose reel jet.
