POLICE are investigating after a motor scooter was found ablaze on open land at Birchwood, Warrington.
The blaze was discovered on land off Swallow Close and was dealt with by one fire crew from Birchwood who used a hose reel jet to extinguish it.
Police were informed because it was believed the fire had been started deliberately.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers hotline on 0800 555 111.
