TIME is running out for Warrington entrepreneurs to secure a place on a fully funded university business growth programme that is boosting turnover and profits for participating firms.
Small businesses and social enterprises have until November 14 to apply for the prestigious Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Programme – starting next Spring at Manchester Metropolitan University
(MMU) Centre for Enterprise.
Previous graduates of the programme are creating the successful enterprises of tomorrow, with a recent national progress report showing that the majority had increased turnover, profitability and staff numbers.
The national initiative, funded by Goldman Sachs and the Goldman Sachs Foundation, is delivered in the North West by MMU.
Participants benefit from a high quality, comprehensive package of support and expertise to help them lay the foundations for long-term sustainable growth and job creation in their communities.
Programme director Jonathan Lawson said: “This is a programme that
brings participants deep learning, both from the course and from each other. It promotes new ideas, new ways to do things, new contacts and a strong set of relationships with regional and national entrepreneurs.
“We urge entrepreneurs to consider joining this fully funded programme and our team is available on the phone to talk them through the application process.”
MMU Centre for Enterprise is recruiting for its spring programme – seeking small businesses and social enterprises with strong growth potential to share the success of recent graduates.
