Six arrested after Manchester Road fracas

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after six men were arrested following an incident on Manchester Road, Warrington during the early hours of Saturday (October 11) when three men were taken to hospital with serious facial injuries.
Shortly after midnight police were called to reports of a disturbance at premises on Manchester Road, Warrington.
Officers arrived at the scene and three men were taken to hospital with serious facial injuries. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what has happened.
Six men have been bailed pending further enquiries
Detective Inspector Matt Durcan said: “We are appealing to anyone with any information about the incident to come forward or anyone who was in the area at the time and has seen anything significant to get in touch. At this stage this appears to be an isolated incident however we have stepped up patrols in the area to provide reassurance to the local community. Anyone with any information is urged to speak to a local officer or contact us directly via 101.”
