Two arrested over Beyonce scam

A MAN aged 31 and a woman aged 55 have been arrested in connection with ongoing investigations into large-scale ticket fraud involving a Beyonce concert in Manchester.
The pair, from Essex, were arrested by British Transport Police (BTP), who have been investigating the fraud.
Earlier this year, a number of people were turned away from a Beyonce concert in Manchester have produced fake tickets at the turnstiles.
A subsequent investigation by BTP suggested hundreds of fans – possibly including some from Warrington – may have been duped into buying the fake tickets from websites.
Police believe there may still be victims of the scam who have not been in touch with them.
Anyone who believes they may be a victim should call BTP on 0800 40 50 40 or ring Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
