SIENA Spiro of St Matthew’s CoE Primary School in Stretton, Warrington, is about to debut in her first film “Keeping Rosy” which is a tense psychological thriller starring Maxine Peake (The Village, Silks) and Blake Harrison (Inbetweeners).
But it will be a long time before seven-year-old Siena and her friends will be able to watch the completed movie – as it has been issued a certificate 15!
The film will be previewed in an immersive pop up cinema in a city-centre office block in Manchester from June 6 before being released to Picturehouse cinemas in London and nationwide from June 27.
Encouraged by her stage school, Little Stars in Appleton, to go for “Keeping Rosy” which was her very first audition, Siena successfully landed the part.
Proud mum Sam said: “She had an amazing experience and was so fortunate to work with some great British actors. Siena got to spend a couple weeks filming in the centre of London which is a far cry from the rural setting of Stretton.
“She had great support from her school which was really appreciated during the whirlwind experience.”
Siena also plays a small part in ’71 another British film set in Northern Ireland which is due out shortly this year.
Who knows what’s next for Stretton’s budding actress.
Her agents are Scream Management based at Media City.
