Escaped prisoner still on the run

ONE of two prisoners who absconded from Thorn Cross open prison, Appleton Thorn near Warrington on Tuesday is still on the run.
John Arnold absconded from the prison along with Anthony Peloe early on Tuesday.
Peloe has subsequently been arrested at an address on Tarbock Road, Speke. But Arnold, aged 30, who was serving a two year sentence for robbery, has not been seen since.
He is about 5ft 11 inches tall, slim, with brown hair and brown eyes. He may be wearing prison issue green trousers.
Police are appealing to anybody who may have seen Arnold since 10.30am on Tuesday or have any information regarding his current whereabouts, to make contact with them using the police non-emergency number 101.
Police are advising as a precaution not to approach him – anyone who sees him is advised to immediately ring 999.
