Youth robbed in broad daylight

A 17-year-old youth was the victim of a daylight robbery at Warrington.
Police today appealed for information following the robbery on a path leading from Loushers Lane to Secker Avenue at about 2.30pm on Wednesday (March 12).
The victim was walked along the path when he was approached by two men who demanded his mobile phone.
One grabbed him in a headlock and there was a brief struggle before the pair fled, taking the phone.
The first offender is described as around 18-years-old, with a spotty complexion. He was wearing a grey jumper with the hood up. The second offender was around the same age and was wearing a black jumper.
Police are investigating the incident and are carrying out a number of enquiries in the local area in a bid to trace the offenders.
Officers are urging anyone who may have witnessed what happened or was in the area at the time and has seen anything significant to come forward. They are also keen to hear from anyone who has any information regarding the identity of the offenders.
