Raiders get away with jewellery haul

RAIDERS broke into a house at Warrington and stole a substantial amount of jewellery – including a man’s silver Rolex watch and a women’s silver Armani watch.
Two silver diamond necklaces, gold and silver bracelets and gold earrings were also stolen in the burglary at a house in Stockport Road, Thelwall.
Police are appealing for information about the raid which took place between 6.10pm and 6.30pm yesterday (Tuesday)
Three men – all believed to have been wearing grey tracksuits – were involved in the incident.
They got into the house through an upstairs window. One of the offenders is believed to have wearing a short-sleeved body warmer and a black hat.
DC Nat Lewis, who is investigating the incident, said: “We are doing everything we can to trace the items and return them to their rightful owner.
“We are currently following up a number of lines of enquiry in relation to this incident and are appealing to anyone who has any information, which might assist with our enquiries, or knows who is responsible to come forward.
“We are also appealing to anyone who has any information regarding the whereabouts of the stolen items or anyone who is offered any jewellery similar to the items mentioned to get in touch.”
