Fire crews called to HGV trailer fire

TWO fire crews were called out during the early hours of this morning following reports of a HGV trailer fire at Hardwick Grange, Woolston, Warrington.

Two fire engines attended, one from Lymm and one from Birchwood following reports of a fire involving a HGV trailer on Hardwick Grange shortly after 2am.
The crews discovered that a small fire, which had occurred in the refrigeration unit of the HGV, was out on arrival.
One hose reel jet was used to cool down the area.
The area was then checked for any hot spots.
