PLANS have been submitted for repair work on a historic single-storey lodge building in Chester Road, Walton, Warrington.
The Grade 2 Listed Walton Hall Lodge is actually the lodge to Walton Lea Crematorium.
Repair work is necessary because of weathering and subsidence and will consist of repairs to a wall and re-setting of a sandstone corbel.
Historic England have welcomed the proposals, put forward by Warrington Borough Council.
