Women arrested following disturbance at Orford

TWO women have been arrested at Orford following a disturbance during the early of today, including reports of one of the offenders having a knife.

The disturbance took place in the Greenwood Crescent area at 12.35am.

When police arrived several females were spoken to but two stood out in that it was alleged that they used foul and abusive language towards officers in the street.

Both women were arrested and taken into custody for questioning.

In another incident during the early hours Police attended the site of the Retail Market which is currently in the process of being demolished, following reports of intruders.

They came away with three juveniles all arrested for an allegation of Being Found on Enclosed Premises.
