Charity golf at Birchwood raises £2,676

A CHARITY day at Warrington’s Birchwood Golf Club raised £2,676 for Prostate Cancer UK.
Prizes worth more than £1,900 were donated by golf clubs, Warrington Wolves gave five pairs of match tickets with a meal and American Golf provided a trolley worth £150, all of which helped to make a success of the day.
Winners of the top prize, a four ball at Royal Birkdale, were Avis and Alan Drew, Pam Norman and Allan Hoy, winning on a card play-off from three other teams.
