Vandal attack on eight cars

POLICE at Warrington are appealing for information after vandals went on the rampage, damaging eight cars.
The incident was in Ellesmere Road, Stockton Heath and is believed to have taken place at about 4am on Saturday, May 5.
Most of the damage involved wing mirrors being smashed but one vehicle was damaged when a “For Sale” sign was thrown onto the windscreen and bonnet.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed any of the incidents or has any information in relation to the identity of the offender or offenders to get in touch.
PC Deborah Morgan said: “This would appear to be a mindless act of vandalism and we will do all we can to trace whoever is responsible.
“We do not know if the damage was caused by one person or a group of people but we are hoping that someone may have some information, which could assist with our enquiries.
“I would urge anyone who has any information to come forward and call us on 101. Information can also be passed on anonymously, via Crimestopoers, on 0800 555 111.”
