Council services to be hit by strike
WARRINGTON’S refuse collection service will be disrupted next Wednesday
as a result of strike action by public sector workers protesting at
Government proposals to change pension arrangements.

Emergency repairs close road bridge
A ROAD bridge over the Manchester Ship Canal at Warrington is to be
closed for about two hours this afternoon while emergency repairs are
carried out.
