PLANNING bosses at Warrington have given the go-ahead for a
controversial plan to convert a three-bedroomed bungalow into a
residential care home for six adults with learning difficulties.

LABOUR strengthened their control on Warrington Borough Council making two over all gains, winning two seats off the Lib Dems and one off the Tories, but losing out to the Lib Dems at Westbrook – although they saw their share of the vote drop by more than 13 per cent – with UKIP taking nearly 15 per cent of votes cast, coming runners up in nine wards.
