Diving with sharks in the Red Sea
TWO Warrington divers, Peter Coulthard and Peter Holbrook, together with
Glyn Hawes from Runcorn, have returned from a diving expedition, which involved studying sharks, manta rays and other large marine life in the Southern
Egyptian Red Sea.

Omega development gets the green light
PLANNING chiefs at Warrington have given outline planning consent for
the next phase of development on the giant Omega site – 2.1 million sq
ft of logistics and manufacturing premises on 150-acres of land in the
southern part of the site.

Full carriageway closures on Thelwall Viaduct
REPAIR work on the M6 Thelwall Viaduct, near Warrington is nearing
completion – but there will be full carriageway closures on Sunday and
Wednesday nights.
Wilderspool’s final curtain call!
WARRINGTON’S famous Wilderspool Stadium took it’s final curtain call as a sell out crowd saw Warrington’s Under 16s stars of the future defeat Cumbria Academy Under 16s 46-16 as local photographer Eddie Whitham captured the occasion.
