FIREFIGHTERS were called out during the early hours of this morning to deal with another suspected arson attack involving a car at Orford this week.

They arrived to find a small fire involving a car on Hardin Avenue and used a hose reel to extinguish the flames.

They continued to damp down and check for hotspots, and police colleagues were notified due to it being a suspected deliberate ignition.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting IML 763131.
Earlier this week firefighters were called out to deal with a suspected arson attack involving a car in Grasmere Avenue.

Earlier in the evening, shortly after 6pm firefighters responded to a report of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Marsh House Lane. There was smoke emitting from one of the cars, so the batteries on the vehicles were disconnected and the area was made safe by the crew. No-one appeared to be seriously injured in the collision.
