Warrington Hospital COVID-19 in-patient numbers down to three

THERE are now just three COVID-19 in-patients being treated at Warrington Hospital, with none in intensive care and just one new case confirmed in the last 24 hours.

According to the latest Public Health England figures 1,317 have tested positive in the Warrington area which equates to 628.5 per 100,000 population.
This figure includes those from the hospital and the wider community and is an increase of one from yesterday.
Including 135 deaths at the hospital at least 266 people have now died in Warrington after testing positive for COVID-19.
The latest COVID-19 related deaths from the Office of National Statistics show 126 people have died in local care homes, two patients have died in a hospice, while three people have died at home.
The last confirmed death at the Hospital was on Tuesday.

To date they have tested 10,143 (9,230) inpatients/community of which 1,182 (1,175) have tested positive.
•The hospital is currently caring for 3 (6) in-patients who have tested positive for Covid-19
•There are 0 (1) Covid-19 positive patients in ICU
•They have discharged 372 (367) patients and sadly 135 (132) have died
•Daily average patients through A&E is 205 (213) and for Runcorn Urgent Care Centre is 46 (48)
•39 Babies born this week (inc. home and hospital) compared with 53 in the same week last year.

Across the UK the daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 85, taking the total number of deaths to 44,602.
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 642 taking the total number to 287,621.
