One more COVID-19 death reported at Warrington Hospital but no new cases

ONE more patient has sadly died at Warrington Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19, although no new cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours .

According to the latest Public Health England figures 1,316 have tested positive in the Warrington area which equates to 628.0 per 100,000 population. This remains the same as yesterday.
Including the *135 deaths at the hospital at least 266 people have now died in Warrington after testing positive for COVID-19.
The latest COVID-19 related deaths from the Office of National Statistics shows 126 people have died in local care homes, two patients have died in a hospice, while three people have died at home.
*There is a discrepancy of one death between what Warrington Hospital has reported and what is being published by NHS England.
The last confirmed death at the Hospital was yesterday (Tuesday).

Across the UK the daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 126, taking the total number of deaths to 44,517.
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 630 taking the total number to 286,979.
