No new deaths but two new Covid-19 cases confirmed at Warrington Hospital

NO new COVID-19 related deaths have been reported at Warrington Hospital but two new cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours.

A total of 129 patients have sadly died at the hospital along with at least 96 people in local care homes, taking the town’s death toll to at least 225.
Six patients have sadly died in June, this compares to 34 in May, 92 in April and 7 in March.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases of Warrington residents reported at the hospital is now 801 – a rate of 382.3 per 100,000 population.

As of yesterday (Thursday) the Hospital Trust has tested 7,432 (6,543) inpatients/community of which 1,151 (1,123) have tested positive.(not all are Warrington residents).
They are currently caring for 17 (18) inpatients who have tested positive for COVID-19
There are 2 (0) C-19+ patients in ICU.
They have discharged 347 (335) patients.
Daily average patients through A&E is 199 and for Runcorn Urgent Care Centre is 46.

Across the UK the daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 173 taking the total number of deaths to 42,461.
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 1,346 taking the total number to 301,815.
