No new deaths and three new cases of COVID-19 confirmed at Warrington Hospital

THERE have been no new deaths reported at Warrington Hospital while three new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the latest daily figures.

The number of patients who have sadly died at Warrington Hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 remains at 115, while at least 88 people have died in local care homes, taking the town’s death toll to at least 203.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in the town now stands at 751.
At noon (Thursday) Warrington Hospital had tested 4,422 inpatients/community of which 1,008 tested positive. (Not all patients are from Warrington).
They currently have 57 current Covid-19 positive inpatients (61 this time last week), six of whom are in ICU (7 this time last week).
They have discharged 273 patients (252 last week).

Across the UK the Daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 118 taking the total number of deaths to 36,793.
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 2,409 taking the total number to 259,559.
