Rhiannon is knocking on TV’s door

FORMER Birchwood High School pupil Rhiannon Lawrence has been knocking on TV’s door for some time.
A couple of years ago, she won a prestigious place with BBC Children – home of the popular channels CBeebies and CBBC – while studying television production management at Edge Hill University.
Now she was credited on screen with her first big television job as production management assistant on the BBC children’s programme Crackerjack.
Rhiannon’s love of editing, production and the world of media started while studying GCSE media at Birchwood High and led to her achieving a first-class Honours
She has been working on Crackerjack as a production management assistant for some time, a role which deals with the many and varied administration tasks involved in producing a popular TV show. She was excited to make the big time as her name appeared in the credits for the show.
Staff at Birchwood High have kept on Rhiannon’s progress ever since she lect school and always knew she would do well. She was talented, always worked hard and was motivated.
A school spokesperson said: “I felt so pleased and proud to see her work credited on TV.”
