POLICE are appealing for help from the public to find a 34-year-old woman from Stockton Heath who has been reported missing – especially anyone who was near the Cantilever Bridge between 10-11pm on Wednesday night.

Helen O’Brien was last seen at around 10pm on Wednesday 25 September on Lime Tree Avenue in Stockton Heath and has not been sighted since.

Helen is around 5′ 7″ tall, of a slim build with black hair and was last seen wearing a large green jumper.

Officers have been searching a number of areas including the Latchford high level bridge, known locally as the Cantilever Bridge and are continuing to make a number of enquiries to try and locate her.

Detective Constable Lee Ellis said: “While we continue to search for Helen I am urging anyone who thinks they may have seen her to come forward and let us know. Particularly if you were in the area of the bridge between 10-11pm last night and have dash cam footage then please get in touch.

“I would also like to appeal directly to Helen to get in touch to let us, and your family know, you are safe.”

Anyone who sees Helen should call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 523165.
