LiveWire is launching an exciting new programme of family themed activities in response to member feedback – and it’s free for LiveWire members.
The new family offering – called #FTW Family Time Weekends – will be held on Saturdays at Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub and Sundays at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub, running from Saturday May 11 for 12 weeks.
The programme sees a range of different family activities taking place across the sites on weekends – including swimming, family fitness, gymnastics, arts and crafts, soft play, dance, tennis and loads more.
The idea is that families can visit the Hubs together and enjoy a wide variety of fun activities that appeal to all ages and tastes.
Activate Fun, a local physical activity provider, will be delivering weekly fun, family sessions as part of the programme.
The sessions will be free for LiveWire members, otherwise will cost £5.50 for 1 x adult and 1 x child, then £4.20 for each additional adults and £2.10 for each additional child.
It will cost just 55p for children three and under.
Matthew Parker, Operations Director for LiveWire, said: “Essentially we want to enhance our offer and provide opportunities to for people of all ages to participate in a range of activities and services we deliver.
“We consulted on this last year and the overwhelming feedback was that families wanted the opportunity to participate in activities together and so we are piloting a programme that we hopefully provide families with the opportunity to do just this, whether it’s physical activity, arts and crafts and much more.”
