EAGER litter pickers took to the streets of Stockton Heath as part of the Great British Spring Clean.
Several local groups were involved, including the Stockton Heath Methodist Church and Encore Productions and the Scouts, along with members of the public who had signed up to the event through the Keep Britain Tidy website.
One group gathered at the Sandy Lane Centre and set out to track down litter to the east of the village centre, while another group joined the scouts and cleaned up way out west. Quite a haul of rubbish resulted – after which the volunteers met up to share a welcome cuppa!
