Police use taser to disarm knife man

POLICE officers used a taser to disarm a man wielding a knife at Great Sankey, Warrington.
Officers were called to the area last night to reports of a man armed with a knife.
It is alleged the man refused to put the knife down and officers were forced to use a taser to bring him under control.
The man was subsequently arrested.
