WARRINGTON & Co. has announced that the fifth annual Apprenticeships & Jobs Fair will take place at The Centre, Birchwood Business Park on March 7.
The event regularly attracts around 900 young people from the local area. The event is free for young people to attend and provides a face-to-face forum where they can meet with almost 40 businesses who will be showcasing their employment and apprenticeship opportunities.
The event is particularly aimed at students and school leavers looking to enter employment this year.
The evening event runs from 6pm until 9pm but because of demand pre-booking is essential with three time slots available at 6pm, 7pm and 8 pm. Tickets are available from https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/warrington-apprenticeships-jobs-fair-thursday-7th-march-2019-tickets-56177363005
Council Leader Cllr Russ Bowden said: “This is a great event that we are proud to run. It is always a packed house, and we know from experience that providing the opportunity for young people and businesses to engage reaps rewards.
“We want to inspire the next generation of Warrington professionals and with businesses attending from sectors including accountancy, construction, hospitality, HR, marketing and beyond, there’s something for everyone.
“As ever, demand for tickets is high so don’t miss out on the opportunity to attend”.
