Police investigate suspected arson attack on car

POLICE are investigating a suspected arson attack on a car parked on the driveway of a property in Westbrook, Warrington, yesterday evening.

Firefighters were called to a car on fire which was well alight on a driveway at an address in Westbrook Crescent in Warrington at 18.28 last night (Wednesday).

The fire had spread to the guttering of the house.

Firefighters used a hose reel and breathing apparatus to put out the fire which is believed to have been started deliberately. Police are investigating.
