ARSONISTS targeted a town centre car wash at Warrington.
The blaze was discovered shortly after 11pm last night and fire engines from Warrington and Penketh were called to the scene.
They found a settee and an industrial recycling bin were alight at the Proshine car wash on Tanners Lane and that flames had spread to a converted shipping container used as an office. The insulation and wooden lining of the structure was ablaze.
Crews used a hose reel jet to tackle the flames and removed burnt material before damping down the whole area. They were at the scene for about 40 minutes.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately and anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers hot line on 0800 555 111.
