STORM Doris blew into Frodsham today – and caused chaos.
Manley Road was blocked by fallen trees, there were reports of part of  the roof being blown off Frodsham Community Centre and the Town Council office at Castle Park House was inundated with reports  of fallen trees and damaged property.

Firefighters using an aerial appliance from Stockton Heath were called to Bridgewater Close, Frodsham after high winds damaged the roof of a three storey building. They removed ridge tiles which had become dislodged and were hanging, dangerously, over a walkway.
The A49 was closed in both directions at its junction with the M56 and at Runcorn firefighters were called out to an incident where a roof was said to have been blown off a row of terraced houses in Handforth Lane.
Crews found part of the flat roof on a row of three storey properties was hanging over the road, affecting a number of properties.
Police were advising residents not to travel unless absolutely necessary.
