Warrington charity smash Tombola World Record

VIDEO: WARRINGTON Disability Partnership are claiming a new World Record, for the biggest ever Tombola.

Although still awaiting official verification Chief Executive Dave Thompson believes the charity he helped set up 25 years ago, has set a new world record, with over 6,000 items on offer at the giant tombola in Golden Square today.

The tombola world record attempt, was six months in the making and has taken a huge effort be a dedicated team of volunteers.

A delighted Dave said: “We have smashed the world record. I don’t want to say too much publicly on how we have managed and it and carried out our verification, but I am very confident we will claim the world record.”

The event was one of many taking place during the charity’s 25th anniversary year.
